Getting to Know Chemical Reaction Hazards

Chemical reactions may sound dangerous when talking about process hazards, but actually understanding their nature and behaviour helps shine a little light on their actual hazardousness. With this webinar, we'll try to have a look at the basics of chemical reactions, and which process conditions could pose a process threat. We'll sort through the most common laboratory testing for "getting to know" chemical reactions, and have a quick overview of the potential preventive and protection measures.
Dust. A small word, a big risk

The Dust Hazards Analysis (DHA) is a study aimed at identifying and assessing potential fire or explosion risks associated with the presence of combustible dust in a process or facility. The main steps of this analysis will be described, starting from the definition of an explosion, through hazardous area classification and ignition risk assessment, and concluding with prevention and protection measures.
