We're looking for a talented and highly motivated lawyer (based in Milan) to support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses. He/she is responsible, as Legal Manager for Legal & Compliance, for the legal affairs of the Italian subsidiaries, with a dotted line with the CEEME Region Lead Counsel.

As Legal Manager you will have a multifaceted practice and you will support the business in Italy especially organizing the legal work and compliance in:
Â
- Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters
- Developing and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programs, including training keeping track of same
- Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities
- Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies, legislatures and the community at large
- Advising Board members and other senior management on a variety of issues
- Delivering reports on compliance (sustainability, compliance and GDPR) and Italian related issues to CEEME Region Lead Counsel
- Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management team
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
- Managing a team of corporate counsel and other members of the legal department

Requisiti minimi:
- Master of Laws (LLM) degree or its equivalent;
- Admission to the Italian bar;
- Legal background, preferably a mixture of law firm and in-house experience;
- Minimum 6+ years practical professional experience with a strong background within commercial and civil law;
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects in a fast-paced environment;
- Very good communication skills in Italian and English, written and verbal;
- Fluent in english (C1);
Requisiti Preferenziali:
- 231/2001 knowledge and Compliance matters;
- Detail oriented organized, reliable, resourceful with a focus on servicing the business;
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, work proactively, be resourceful, take on additional responsibility and prioritize;
- Flexibility to work on a broad variety of legal matters.
